Are You Looking For a Career As a Pharmacy Technician?
An aging population and more reliance on prescription medications, means that employment forecast for pharmacy technicians is projected to grow faster than the average for all occupations nationally over the next decade. Qualified pharm techs are needed in hospitals, clinics, retail outlets and more.
What our Pharmacy Technician Program Offers
Pharmacy Technicians are trained health care professionals who work alongside pharmacists in both hospitals and retail pharmacies. Responsibilities include preparing and filling prescriptions, issuing medications, and labeling store supplies under the supervision of a pharmacist.
At All-State Career, you will learn the basic aspects of pharmacy practice, including reading, filling and distributing prescriptions, understanding the legal responsibilities of a pharmacy for record maintenance, and the handling of various categories of drugs. In addition, the program teaches basic pharmaceutical calculations, medications, common drug interactions and their side effects and pharmaceutical agents and their uses.
Upon completion of the program, graduates will be prepared for entry-level employment working with pharmacists in retail or online pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical companies and more.

I wanted to see the open road, I wanted to get into the experience, I wanted to see different places, different areas of the country.
Before I started school I was living with my parents and had no car and I was working three jobs. I now have my own car, I moved into my first place in December and I am able to support myself on my own.
I usually worked around with my hands doing things around the house, carpentry, home improvement, things of that nature. It wasn’t until I actually got involved in the program that I actually focused in on HVAC as something that I can actually make into a career.
I like what I do because it is challenging. It keeps me focused of the goal of what I actually went to school to learn - HVAC.
